My six interviews at Prevention Magazine’s third annual R3 Summit at ACL Live

Nicolette Mallow with her Press Pass, January 2016.

As I social distance myself during COVID-19, I’ve been missing press rooms, press passes, and all the live entertainment that the world of art can offer. I wonder when I will be able to attend another red carpet event? Will we have masks on still? When will live music, performing arts, and festivals return? Will it ever be the same? … Nostalgia has been on my mind, and I’ve been daydreaming about some of my favorite work events. Enclosed is a photo of me being playful with my official Press Pass for Prevention Magazine’s third annual R3 Summit held at ACL Live at The Moody Theater in Austin, Texas circa January 16, 2016. “Hosted by Prevention Magazine, R3 is an award winning 1 ½-day long experiential event providing women with the tools to take action when it comes to their health and happiness (R3 = Revive, Refresh, and Reinvent).”

In December 2015, I was invited to join this special event by publicists at Sunshine Sachs, to interview several of the speakers and write articles (character profiles) for the sake of storytelling and publicity. It was a wonderful experience for which I am eternally grateful! Thank. You. Universe!

My first interview on Saturday the 16th within the Pressroom began with Bob Roth. Roth is the Executive Director (as of today, the CEO) of The David Lynch Foundation. Then I had the honor to interview the Queen of Good Morning America and cancer survivor, Joan Lunden. Later I had the privilege to speak with global entrepreneur Naomi Whittel, Dr. Travis Stork, life coach Lauren Handel Zander, and fitness trainer Larysa DiDio. All six interviews were so exciting for me as a writer, and it was such an honor to spend time with these successful individuals. Learning from the Masters is always a great way to grow.

All my articles were published on, which obtained 20-25 million readers a month. Listed in order of publication, below is a bio from R3’s website of each unique individual, their professional background, and a link to all six interviews that I wrote for (Please note that as of July 10, 2016: has closed its operations and all articles from Examiner and AXS were transferred to my professional website.)
